Essential Tip #9 – You should always make sure that you are maintaining a mental outlook that is positive and optimistic at all times.

There is definitely a connection that exists between living healthfully and living well, and having an outlook on life that is positive, cheerful and optimistic. The more positive that you are about your life, even during the hard times, the more successful you will be in achieving good health and wellness in other areas of your life as well. Having a positive outlook may not always seem possible, but if you can force yourself to find positive things in your life, then you can influence your existence in a positive way and ward off bad feelings.

Here is a thought worth keeping with you: It is really hard for you to be unhappy when you are smiling, singing, laughing or doing something that you love. If you’re feeling unhappy, force a smile. It may not be pleasant at first – But give it a minute – The warm feelings will kick in.

Essential Tip #10 – While you cannot choose your parents, something that you can do is to counteract the genes that were handed to you.

The link that you find between good health and genetics is one that is quite powerful and that simply cannot be denied no matter how we would like to try. Just because one of your parents or even both of your parents happened to have poor health or to die prematurely, that does not mean that there aren’t steps that you can take in order to counteract the genes that were handed down to you. If you practice good health and wellness, then there is no reason why you cannot outlive your parents and other family members.

In fact, if you have a family member with a genetic condition or some other health issues, you should take it as a lesson to improve your health so that you do not fall prey to the same health issues. There is nothing set in stone that states that you are destined to follow the same path in health and wellness as your family – So let this be an opportunity for you to take an entirely new path. It really does not take much to change your health – You simply have to be willing to live consciously of your health and your personal wellbeing so that you can constantly take steps to improve those things in your life.
